Updated again! The list now has 100 planes on it and all of the information is filled in. I'm sure there are still some mistakes on
there...it's trial and error from here on. Keep your comments coming, it has helped a great deal.

I'll add planes as people request them now, but I think 100 strong is a good starting point for the list. I've spent hours looking up planes,
weights, and passenger information...it's time for me to get back to flying a little bit.

I'll be uploading all this information to a website soon...stay tuned for details.

Great list, helped me a lot so far.

One note though: DH-88 Comet carrying 36-44 PAX? I'd like to see that. Wink More like 0-1. Smile

Yep, I see what happened here, I used stats from the deHavilland Comet jet liner instead of the deHavilland DH-88 Comet racing plane
from the 1930s. I'll fix that tonight, who would have thought that the geniuses over at deHavilland would have made two planes with such
similar names? Thanks for the heads up.

Ryanamur: Thanks for moving it to the tips and tricks section. The URL shouldn't change soon, however there is going to be an online
version up very soon that is just in a php script. This should make it accessable to those without MS Word or those behind a firewall. I'll
post the link here as soon as it is completed.

Different eras mate. They didn't consider folks like us when they named 'em.

Well, thanks to the hard work and good programming skills of Captain Binkles, we now have a website with all this information listed on
it. You can sort the planes by weight or name and it makes the list accessable to those without MS Word. I'll still update both lists as
folks keep me informed of mistakes or new planes. I never imagined that my little list would evolve into 100+ planes, but it surely has!

To view the list online, visit:

Thanks again to Captain Binkles, great job!

Not a problem, I'm happy to help with the list, and you've done the work of finding it all out.

If anyone else has an idea for a page etc, then let me know. laurence @ <wait for it, it's coming> merraine.info

3 Additional C0-C2 planes:

1) Lake Renegade 250 or 270 (5 pax)

2) Piper Malibu Mirage (5 pax)

3) Extra 400 (5 pax)

Re: List of common planes available by rank? - Gibbmusic - 26-07-2005

BUG REPORT: A very astute FsP user, Anthony L., pointed out a bug in FsP that also cause my list to be wrong. It seems that Dan will fix
this in the next release, see this post for more info: http://www.fspassengers.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=4636&pid=51013#pid51013

In short, the rankings were off a bit..C4 and C5 are supposed to be together, which also throws off some of the ranks below it. I fixed this
in my .doc file and I'm sure Captain Binkles will update the website with the change very soon. You can now download the new .doc file
to reflect this change.

Thanks for the heads up Anthony, good work.
