Re: How to distinguish between SEP and TEP? - AltairZQ - 19-06-2006 Thanks for your replies. I agree with you Poden. What I'm doing is creating a new table with our company fleet and there I can say if they are S(ingle)EP, B(i)EP, T(ri)EP, Q(uad)EP and P(enta)EP and so on! And of course any combination with T and J. I don't know if aircraft with more than 4 engines exist but hey better safe than sorry! Why exactly MEP doesn't do the job ? Dan Re: How to distinguish between SEP and TEP? - AltairZQ - 21-06-2006 Sorry Dan, guess I had a bad day and couldn't think straight. My sarcasm really looks ugly now. The distinction is because in our Va there is this IFR title that allows you to fly twin engine turboprop aircrafts but not anything above that. Thanks and sorry again. Sergi. Re: How to distinguish between SEP and TEP? - DanSteph - 22-06-2006 Hello Sergi, No problems we all have bad days sometime ![]() About that value I just looked again to be sure but the N# of engines is not exported at all. Only solution would be to make a guess into the script based on the aircraft's name but that would not be very reliable and would allow errors. Best Dan Re: How to distinguish between SEP and TEP? - AltairZQ - 23-06-2006 Well what I'm doing is building up a database with all the aircrafts in the company and there I can store the number of engines and the type. Problem is some pilots change the name in the aircraft.cfg and it's a mess but in time things will work I hope ![]() Regards. Sergi. |
