I'm finding that flying the Citation X really doesn't make me any cash. A hop from Midway to Nashville netted me a meager 8k, while the same hop in a
737 made me 636k. Just not enought pax on the Citation, and you're not going to be carrying much cargo with it either.

I still only have one pilot, and he's a C2, so I fly:
- the great Cessna 206 Skywagon (good freeware!) because it has 6 seats and...
- the default Mooney as a more complex and faster aircraft (retracting gear...).
I'm only half an hour away from the piston twins, can anyone recommend me a good freeware piston twin with speed and many seats?
I'm very happy to get on the twin as I'm currently on my way to west Africa for some dangerous bushflying and crossing the Sahara in a
Mooney with only one engine just didn't feel safe... *lol*

You gotta have the rep to get at least 50% load factor (4 pax), and keep the VIP price high. Also, make sure your fuel planning is tight, or
your profit margin disappears. I just flew a 1100 nm hop, and got 40K profit. It's small, but i'm in the green. Generally, yes, the other
planes pay for the Cit flights, but then again, that's why I have the Fokker - a 150nm short hop made me 300K...

Myself, I fly mostly in the DC-3 at this point, my company, Knight Air, has the following:
2*DC-3 (one with modern equipment, one with original equipment)
1*Cessna 172
1*Cessna 182
1*Mooney Bravo
Had a King Air, but that went down the tubes in a harddrive failure, so I had to start over
. I must say I love my DC-3s

Well, as soon as I land back at my "home base", I'll be adding a C421 to the two Bonanzas and a Cherokee. One flap failure later and I got promoted
two and a bit hours early. :-)
You know, one of these days I may achieve some form of consistency with this add-on. Cursing it to wanting to kiss it in less than a week...
