Re: FSUIPC - tbird - 31-08-2005 Theres a new version out now FSUPIC 3.50, might worth a try eh? Re: FSUIPC - SWAFO - 31-08-2005 I'll check it out! Thanks for the heads up! Re: FSUIPC - omarza - 31-08-2005 Hi Brad... I couldnt answer before as I didnt have the PMDG 737. I have it now and checked... i'm using FSUIPC ver 3.48 and dont experience any problems with running it with the PMDG... however its still the unregistered version of FSUIPC but i'll probably know over the weekend if registering makes a difference as im registering it then. Will let you know and let me know if there is something I can mybe check or try to duplicate etc. Re: FSUIPC - tbird - 31-08-2005 I have the registered vesion of FSUPIC 3.48 and the PMDG installed and have never had any issues regarding problems with the PMDG and FSUPIC A registered version or an unregistered version has nothing to do with the problems I would say. PMDG and most of the other developers like PSS have got a key from Pete Dowson so their software will work with the FSUPIC. The reg version of FSUPIC has more options than the unregistered version. Re: FSUIPC - SWAFO - 01-09-2005 No luck with the new dll... too bad looks like I'm stuck with 3.4 Re: FSUIPC - SWAFO - 01-09-2005 Weird... I renamed my Fsuipc.key file to Fsuipc.key.old (effectively disabling it), and FSUIPC V3.50 works fine (yet unregistered). Perhaps I'll email Peter Dowson about this. Re: FSUIPC - tbird - 01-09-2005 Yes, that sounds really weird..... Just installed the 3.50 my self and it works like a charm ![]() Re: FSUIPC - SWAFO - 01-09-2005 It works great for me, but like I said... it's unregistered! ![]() Re: FSUIPC - alphaone - 02-09-2005 I updated to fsuipc 3.50 last night and my pmdg planes broke and also aismooth broke. I'm doing a full reinstall of fs right now. Re: FSUIPC - alphaone - 02-09-2005 ok reinstalling everything did... nothing... it still doesn't work. If its not registered it works fine, but if its registered, no mfd's or panel controls Re: FSUIPC - jboweruk - 02-09-2005 Ah man, and I have just put 3.5 on. Have you tried installing the aircraft AFTER FSUIPC update? I know I had a problem with certain sounds on FSHotseat and had to uninstall that then re-install it AFTER upgrading FSUIPC then every thing was fine. Re: FSUIPC - Er!k - 02-09-2005 I also use the unregistered version of UIPC. I never had problems with it... What should be a reason for buying? Re: FSUIPC - olseric - 02-09-2005 Buying it enables a bunch of extra features like advanced weather control (wind smoothing, pressure smoothing, etc), advanced joystick control, like, setting up toe brakes for gameport rudder pedals, fine tuning, etc, and, of course, supporting programs/modules/etc that use FSUIPC in a way that would require a registered version and have NOT obtained a designer's key from Pete. Mine is unregistered, but I don't have anything that requires a registered copy. Re: FSUIPC - SWAFO - 02-09-2005 I'm going to try reinstalling the addons AFTER adding that version of FSUIPC... we'll see if it works Re: FSUIPC - alphaone - 02-09-2005 i tried removing and reinstalling my pmdg last night (used the remover from pmdg) and tried again, but it still was broken. Does anyone know how to stop the pmdg planes from breaking when fsuipc is registered? I really want to get this fixed before I get ASV (so i can have the wind/weather smoothing options) Post Edited ( 09-02-05 23:02 ) |
